The Application Process

Once your application has been submitted you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt.  At any time, you may access your application to update or cancel your profile and/or resume ensuring the information Estée Lauder Companies holds about you is complete, accurate and up to date. 

Please be patient we can receive hundreds of applications for one vacancy, it takes time to review your resumes and we wish to look carefully through each and every one. After reviewing applications either Human Resources or a Retail Field Manager will contact you direct by telephone if short-listed.  Unsuccessful applications will be notified via email.

Our recruitment/interview process differs slightly in each brand however they prescribe to a similar path. Usually the process is as follows;

• Phone call
• Interview 1 - Face-to-face interview with a Retail (Counter) Manager or Retail Field Manager
• Interview 2 - Face-to-face interview with a Human Resources Business Partner or Head Office Representative (depending on level of role). Sometimes we may ask you to preapre a short presentation as part of Interview 2, if relevant to your role.
• Two verbal reference checks & psychometric testing

The recruitment process allows us the opportunity to better understand the shortlisted candidates. It is also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
